About the Role:

We're seeking a talented WordPress Backend (Fullstack) Developer to build and scale our unified platform that powers exceptional customer experiences. You'll develop robust WordPress solutions for our e-learning and content initiatives, working closely with marketing and design teams to create amazing user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain WordPress websites with focus on backend architecture, database optimization, and performance
  • Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins using PHP, with strong emphasis on backend logic and API integrations
  • Configure and customize e-learning platforms including LearnDash, Divi, and other WordPress LMS plugins
  • Develop custom REST APIs and integrate third-party services into WordPress ecosystem
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and deployment automation
  • Optimize website performance including database queries, caching strategies, and server configurations
  • Ensure website security, conduct code reviews, and maintain comprehensive documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on WordPress development experience with strong backend/fullstack focus
  • Expert-level proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and WordPress core architecture
  • Proven experience with LearnDash, Divi, and other e-learning/LMS plugins
  • Strong experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (vanilla JS and jQuery)
  • Hands-on experience with Linux server administration and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Git)
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party service integrations
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities

Preferred Skills:

  • Modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js) and Gutenberg block development
  • WordPress Multisite, WooCommerce, payment gateway integrations
  • SEO best practices, automated testing frameworks
  • Contributions to open-source WordPress projects
