We are looking for a Motion Graphic Designer to help us with our content and growth strategy.
You will be responsible for creating engaging video content for YouTube and other social media platforms. We are a remote-first company, so you'll work with our remote team to help create great security training products that delight our customers.
What is the role of a Motion Graphic Designer?
The Motion Graphic Designer job description includes capturing, editing, and producing animations and videos for internal and external purposes.
As video has become a key strategy for communicating our message on digital and traditional platforms, this position will play an important role across the organization.
For this, you need to have a strong ability to communicate with different stakeholders in the organization. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we'd like to meet you.
Requirements
- 3-4+ years of proven work experience as a Motion Graphic Designer
- Strong experience with video editing software packages (e.g. Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro)
- Demonstrable motion graphic design ability with a strong portfolio
- Proven experience in creating and editing, explainer, 2d animation, commercial, youtube social and ads videos.
- Passion for storytelling and ability to explain complex topics with ease via video
- Ability to iterate quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with frequent, regularly scheduled deadlines
- Proven experience in establishing a uniform brand identity and consistency through video
- Ability to grasp & learn new video editing techniques
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Should have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A bachelor's degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Help us create best-in-class video content to support the brand's digital marketing and content initiatives
- Lead pre-production, editing, and post-production of all videos - knows the ins and outs of video production
- Participate in conceptualizing, and storyboarding content ideas with an eye and POV on what types of video work best for subject matter, distribution platform, and our customer profile
- Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
- Create rough/final cuts and Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
- Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and the industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
